Dark psychological drama, which shows the devastating effect upon a child if he is raised by an evil psychopath -- this happened to Min, played by Park Bo Gum. His brother, played by Seo in Guk, has a different upbringing, and becomes a genius profiler. Seo in Guk delivers a mind-blowing interpretation of this character, with his superb acting. His overwhelming presence, yet subtle acting makes "Hello Monster" a worthwhile watch. Unfortunately he was robbed of the award for best actor !

This is by far the best Korean Drama which I have seen. Director Yoo Je-won created a masterpiece about the tragic life of the main character - Kim Moo Young. Seo in Guk brilliantly becomes Moo Young and does some phenomenal acting . He creates a truly unforgettable character. He is superbly supported by Jung so Min. There is deep psychological meaning in the story about people with difficult lives. The intensity of the feelings and the way in which Director Yoo Je-won inspired his brilliant actors to portray them , is cinematography comparable to the work of the great Swede - Ingmar Bergmann.
