Good start to what could ultimately become a franchise. The first 15 minutes was both emotional and action-packed. The introduction of Cole Young, however seemed a bit of a letdown. The character seemed one-dimensional and as much as the writers tried to make him relatable, it still felt forced. Kano was definitely one of the highlights. The brash mercenary was a welcome relief from the stilted acting of many of the other cast members. Some of the changed lore and background stories also did not sit well with me. The action sequences were exhilarating and well crafted. The movie deserves a sequel at the very least and hopefully a full franchise.
