This film basically portrays the rise of China. Dying industrial sector was revitalized by the Chinese company called Fuyao. The company implemented Chinese work ethics that led to a culture clash among Chinese and American employees. What I can see from this movie are the different ways of lives, values, and beliefs that put the company at risk since the American workers resent their own company. The company suppressed them by paying them off which shows that they were afraid that union would hurt the business. Unionization shows that when people are in their hard times, they have nothing to lose. I feel bad for the American workers that used to make more money and had better quality of lives when GM was still there. Fuyao just didn't care about the workers, but only for their own benefits.
