A darker intense departure from the Connery/ Moore formula. If you are open to change, it’s a terrific Bond film. Just different. Grittier, more real- very few double entendres for virtually no comic relief. I personally enjoyed it. Not gimmicky. However with all that said, nothing in my mind beats ‘From Russia With Love.’ My personal favorite.
