Gemma Arterton is fantastic, most of the cast is great, and the retro sets/costumes are well done. BUT, I lost interest in (and respect for) the show when it became clear that the struggle is focused on her love life, rather than her personal growth, career, or friendships. Snooooooze. Also, Rupert Everett isnโt doing himself any favors in this role, and I say that as a fan.
