After giving the album more listens and taking the time to really think on it, it's really growing on me. My first review was more undecided, unsure whether I liked the album as a whole or not.
I definitely enjoy the first half more than the second, that hasn't changed a ton. Game Over, Mattel, Nobody, Cosmic, and Ordinary are my favorite songs on the album by far. I even don't mind We Love You now, which I really disliked up until now, but it took awhile for me to get into it.
I'm raising my rating from a 6 to a 7.5 as there are still some songs I'm not feeling (Easier, Beautiful Morning, and G). I really do commend the band for trying something different, and although it took me a bit to really feel the album out, I'm glad I stuck with it. It's a very different, sometimes messy, album with so many different sounds and genres going on that I'm not surprised it's taken me a bit to really start digging it.
