This game is just Half-Life. Straight-up just a better graphics knock-off Half-Life. Don't get me wrong, I love Half-Life, but the whole system of holding back and strategically taking potshots at enemies who can solo you is not what Doom is about. If I'm playing a Doom game, I expect to be able to charge in guns a blazing and turn those demon scumbags into colored rain. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time. I suggest you play the real Doom 3, Doom 64.
