A beautiful well written period piece that highlights integrity, unforbidden loves, social class taboos, and classy drama with outstanding cinematography to take you into the world of Castamar. Each character brings unique flavor to this outstanding binge worthy piece. I love the handsome Duke Diego's gentle, yet strong character's noble presence from the kitchen staff to the upper echelons of society. Every character is rewarded or justly punished for their deeds, good or bad. I love how the story line evolved Carla's and Diego's love story! I highly recommend The Cook of Castamar for viewers who love beautiful love story period pieces.
