When a developer say they working on a game for 4 years, you would think the will present game with more dynamic functions than the previouse game, mk1 have no crossplay, king of the hell looks very basic and not as practical as mk11 or even mk9, they promised a new play modes in the game but I can't see any new play modes, the invasion mode is just the same towers mode in mk11 just with new presntation merged with the crypt. So you didn't do anything new there.
Full of Bugs after 4 years of developing and they not bugs that you see in a well made game kinda gives you the impression that this game was made in a rush, it's not something you need 4 years to develop but let's just say ok early days still,
Game is unbalanced, some characters kill in 2 touches like legit 2 touches and you dead lol others you do 19 hit combo to get 20% damage lol
They presented cameo system but it feels like it is a desperate attempt to come with something new iand it's too early to say but it kinda look very unbalanced at the moment, comparing to sf6 mk1 is way way way behind. If you wanna look at the content value it is very limited to what it can offer, only if you a pro fighting game player you will enjoy this one because yes in terms of cameos you have many options also it is very technecal more than the previouse mk games or tbh than any other modern fighting game if you think about it, but in terms of casual players this game have very very little to offer.
Can be fun if you a pro player, ( you can count those) the reset should avoid it you don't wanna pay 90$ for a game you can finish in 1 hour and you won't be able to enjoy fighting vs others unless you go and spend time trying to learn what works with what with this cameo system practice the combos that and so on
