If you liked the story in the Halo games or Books, don’t watch this show. The main story in this show has nothing to do with either. While there are still plot elements that stem from the original source material, they’re explained horribly or way to briefly. If you’re a true of the Halo universe, the liberties they take with some of the characters will make you want to pull your hair out. If you know absolutely nothing about the Halo universe, and watching this show is how you discover Halo, that might be the only way to truly enjoy the show.. but even from that perspective the writing still isn’t great.
