The shorts were better. The villain was simple and entertaining. The movie changed him into this weird mental health apparition that somehow also did its own thing at times. The story falls so very very short it wouldn’t have made a difference if there wasn’t any. The only good thing to come out of this movie was the villain got an amazing aesthetic upgrade. Love the new look! I hope they learn from this and try again, but not too hard.

(Contains minor spoilers) This movie was bad. But it looks good so I gave it two stars. It’s just another Romeo and Juliet story that everyone seems to rip off a million times. Every issue that came up was solved instantly so there was no real problems or conflict. Benimaru somehow became super weak compared to the show. Watching himi fight it’s super clear he got nerfed and even claimed himself weaker than hiiro. With little to no info somehow Diablo figured out exactly who was behind it all. If rimuru took even a single moment seriously the whole movie would have been pointless and over in the first few minutes. I’m really hope they don’t consider this cannon in any way and eventually fades into memory
