Finally got to see this one. This is a movie with a great story and a grand vision-hats off to the filmmakers for doing it all on such a small budget! This is how you do a superhero origin story and blend it with Indian mythology. While there were some minor issues eith VFX it still looked hundreds time better than adipurush. I am very excited at the possibilities with this universe. Everyone worked very well together. A few issues I had. The Shazam catch phrase got annoying. Also some of the action. I want to see him beat people up rather than it being cut to shreds or fade to black and then only see the bad guys flying in the air. And the climax was amazing-goosebumps.

I thought the movie was pretty good but should have been way better than what it was. It is unfortunate with the source material and the budget that they didn't do better. It is worth a watch a least once. The music score was probably the highlight. The cast did a good job with what they had. The VFX was shoddy--making it darker does not cover the poor work done. I honestly wonder where the money went. Some of the dialogue should have been rewritten - some cringeworthy dialogue. I thought it dragged a bit in places. I also feel like the series previously done by others worked better to flesh out characters and storyline than the movie. It wasn't a bad time at the theaters but also needed improvement. I kind of wished they had put this in Rajmouli's hands
