I first fully read Heaven Observed: Glimpses of Transcendence in Everyday Life by Barry L Morrow in 2019. It is an epic treatise that deeply investigates how the reality of the existence of Heaven and Hell permeates every facet of human existence, although often without even our conscious knowledge or recognition. And in the words of the author, "... In every human life, God has provided signals of transcendence that hint of another world to come."
We may choose to ignore the reality of Heaven's existence but that does not in any way diminish its overall importance as the final abode for all those who by faith place their eternal destiny into the hands of a loving and caring Saviour - Jesus Christ.
The book is made up of Fourteen detailed Chapters that are broken into Three Parts, all with the theme of Heaven running through.
In a summarized nutshell, the book holistically tackles such practical questions about heaven that tend to gnaw on the human conscience and consciousness as:
* Where is Heaven?
* Is there time in Heaven?
* Will we still have bodies in Heaven?
* Will we be able to recognize others who have long gone before us?
* Will we be equal in status? and
* What will we be doing in Heaven all through Eternity?
I am giving this book a five-star rating because it comes very highly recommended by me for its clarity of thought, brevity of expression, well-enunciated and soundly-articulated concepts, plus its graphically-detailed presentation of facts that are based on extensive impirical research. A marvelous feat by the highly respected author.
