Commenter Rose Thorn said it best (below). This was the equivalent of white women purchasing young Black Islanders/Africans for sex. In no world would Edris and Tilda EVER work...it was gross to watch and I was pissed after having spent my money on it. We don't need movies like this. But I loved Edris and the stories, but that's about it.
