Such a wonderful and heartfelt movie. As well as getting some laughs out of us, the ending had both me and my boyfriend in tears. The animation is gorgeous and the soundtrack is amazing. This has been our third time watching it together, and we have no shame in saying it's one of my favourite movies. The characters have great appeal, and I personally like some of the secrets that they hold (Alberto's past for example) it can be interesting to open up your mind and try to think for yourself about what might have happened, that being said, it would be lovely to get a sequel and explore this. The friendship that Luca and Alberto share is so wholesome and it was a joy to watch it progress, and Giulia is a very likable, sweet and relatable character in terms of her feeling out of place and different, but wanting to prove to everyone that she's worth something. If you haven't seen it yet and you can give it a go, I'd recommend giving it a try and seeing for yourself, trailers don't always show movies in the best way sometimes.
