I was surprised to see such brilliant actresses in this nonsensical display of overt pretentious opulence and drama. People with no musical knowledge giving this rave reviews speaks volumes about the state of our society and emperor's new clothes. Bar the musical aspect, the direction of the story line, if any, was so dramatically abstract, that it felt like an insult to my cognitive abilities. This extended to my inability to read and grasp the lighting-fast subtitles and illegible social media messaging, which must have been to convey the meaning of the missing story line. I must have missed it! This was the longest, most disappointing anticlimax i have ever endured in front of a screen. Apart from the brilliant acting, that this had so many nominations and rave reviews is a worrying reflection of societies general state of mind and need to appear culturally and intellectually sussed! Forever bamboozled!
