First of all, kanguva is not a Bad film neither its a great film. To spend 350cr and not work on the base of the film is really frustrating! The screenplay is so weak that it makes the GREAT suriya look ordinary. The character arc of the character suriya has so many hiccups that you feel angry at the writer and director who executed the whole sequence between the kid and kanguva. It could have been better. Visuals are no that great and the action sequences use alot of high speed shots which is outdated in today's time. The weather difference on two islands which are not even 100km far is really pathetic. Perumachi island has cold weather and arathi island looks like middle east. So many silly questions arise when we watch the film but they stay unanswered. It is still unbelievable that a director with a great backing of superstars and 350cr budget, Fails to deliver even a fairly good film. Hope to see them deliver a great film in the coming years. Suriya is a superb talent but He should not do repetitive scripts with the same core idea of double roles, connection with past and present. 7aum arivu is enough for that. Alas, thank you to the team of kanguva for their hardwork.
