Holy hell, I can’t believe this movie has decent ratings. I watched a little over 20 mins and couldn’t do it anymore. I’m sure the story is one worth telling, but this was written to be so cheesy, it could have been satire or a parody. Just hard to watch with the dialogue and events, I kept getting second hand embarrassment and kept wanting to laugh. Reminded me of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, except that was supposed to be funny and this was supposed to be an inspiring drama. 2 stars for the story, 1 star for the wildly low budget feel.
