The first play I've ever walked out of. A terrible adaptation of what is originally an excellent play. The main character is beyond insufferable more irritating than a swarm of mosquitoes. This is meant to be a satirical play on institutional corruption in the police, yet the central character is written as a privately school educated rada type. The most jarring and unthreartening character writing. Satire at its worst. A wasted adaptation. As wet as the guffawing patrons who thought they were watching anything of political value. I would of have been disappointed to have spent 99p on a ticket. Avoid.
