I was so excited to watch this but now I want my damn money back. It was so bad compared to the other jurassic movies. The scenery was pretty and the dinosaurs looked cool but the actual plot, characters and action was horrible. Pretty sure only 3 people were killed by the dinosaurs. THE T-REX didn’t even get to kill anyone and the mutated dinosaur only killed one person. It’s like their target audience were children so they were too cowardly to let the dinosaurs kill more people. The dinosaurs should’ve killed way more people and been more intelligent like in the other movies. The T-rex was so slow in the scene where it goes after the family and how did it not pop that mini boat. Felt like I was watching a disney movie or something. Also the main group of people pissed me off like leave the dinosaurs blood alone. Had me actually hoping the dinosaurs wiped them out. The family was useless and added nothing to the plot. Also what’s with films feeling the need to add relationships that add nothing to plot, it’s like they just can’t fight the urge not to add one. They’re also usually VERY cringe like the couple in this one and the flirting between the main woman and nerdy guy. The character’s barely had any development and were all uninteresting. The lines were so CRINGE omg “i’m not hysterical, i’m homicidal” and most of that nerds lines. Also at the end when they were on that tiny boat going back home, why were there no Mosasaurus and Spinosaurus around?When they first came to the island, the group was getting attacked by them but suddenly when they’re going home, the creatures just peacefully let them go past? The character’s had WAY too much plot armour even tho they were useless. Do not waste your time watching this movie!!
