Overall I thought the movie was good or at least above average. The only real problems I had with the movie was that some of the acting and line delivery from some of the characters outside of the Killer was pretty amateur. It was also kinda slow paced for me but that may just be a me thing. It had a pretty good fight scene and good attention to detail on how the Killer handled assassinations and the prep required to get away with it, and the inner monologue of the Killer was enjoyable

the world and setting was very unique, it was my first studio ghibli movie and i found the animation pretty satisfying. the characters were all good in their own way, my main takeaways of the movie was that Sophie Hatter was pretty unlikeable in some scenes, making rash decisions or just not caring what happens to Calcifer throughout parts of the film. i also felt like they fell in love way too fast, and it was basically just from attraction because he hardly knew anything about her and neither did she when it was revealed she loved him. all in all i think it was a warm and nice movie with unique characters and a unique world, but nothing super deep
