Very intense, thought provoking & quite simply brilliant Highly recommended the stories even though they're short in terms of pages still deliver the same pleasure as a full length novel quite a feat but indicative of the density of narrative a masterclass in short story writing simply exquisite 👏 👍

A truly bizarre film but engrossing to the very end ... some heavy duty mind games going at times but very good looking & bizarre brilliant & beautiful

literally unforgettable 👌 highly recommended I loved it 😍 magical film that could never have been made by Hollywood
only A European with such artistry ingrained could create this near masterpiece its bizarre brilliant & mesmerising in equal measure gotta watch this film if you get a chance Pedro Almodovar at his unleashed best here given free reign to transpose the original story complete onto film a bit like the life of Pi where perhaps it wouldn't have been considered possible to make a film from the source material but both films show that in the right hands anything is possible A magical bizarre brilliant movie 5* on reflection perhaps Tim Burton could have made this movie too with Helena Bonham Carter as Vera wouldn't be a better film but just possibly Tim Burton could've navigated the nuances of the film possibly even a film for Tarantino to explore 😀 he showed in once upon a time in Hollywood how well he could add multiple layers to a film - but it was his story to begin with but a remake by Tarantino would be extraordinary even above this original 😀 I'd watch a QT remake without a doubt 😀 .. but it is a visually stunning film & never gets boring not for 1 second its engrossing 😉 but some people would hate it immediately switch off & miss out on something quite unique

Lavish production set in beautiful Sicily a great cast of characters well acted & excellent stories each episode is like a movie - so good this I loved it 😀
Shame it can't continue but with the death of Andrea camilleri no stories left - all the previous novels having been filmed ... but what a series whilst it lasted glorious
Light hearted witty & heartfelt ♥️ highly recommended for fans of light crime dramas my favourite cop show

Perhaps having just watched the excellent 1st series of True Detective I wasn't quite ready for the mundanity of the game .. oh dear its poor 😢

I enjoyed it I thought Manuel garcia rulfo was fine as Mickey Haller ... overall I was very happily entertained by The Lincoln Lawyer which is all that I could ask for really .. the only bits that I wasn't happy with were his daughter Hayley not a great character & poorly played too but a minor quibble obviously th lincoln lawyer series isn't perfect - but I didn't watch it to get a foundation in US Law but it was genuinely entertaining & engrossing thoroughly enjoyable except for viewers who only watch some shows just to pick holes in them I'm sure they'd pick some in this I wouldn't 😉 I'm quite satisfied being entertained by a glossy clever & smart TV show without feeling the need to criticise it in order to somehow boost my self esteem in doing so 😀 overall I thought it was very good & I'm looking forward to series4
