Wow! Everything from the actors to the music to the cinematography was excellent. The message is what everyone needs to hear. I love how this one movie touched on so many things beautifully- family, sisterhood, spirituality, racial justice, patriarchy, trauma, abuse, conversion, and healing. Can’t say enough good things about this and I’m surprised they didn’t win more awards. I’d pick this movie any day over the other Oscar nominated films.
