First off, this is a show about a polyamorous relationship between a married couple and another woman. If you find that concept disturbing, move on, and please don't blather on about how it offends your own particular morality. That has nothing to do with the show itself.
This is a romantic comedy. It just had 3 people, not 2. Many of the old standby tropes are present - some played very straight, some with a nice ironic twist.
Generally, the characters are believable and likeable, if occasionally cliched. The same goes for the storylines. I appreciate the fresh look at relationships, even if it does gloss over a lot of the pitfalls (or resolves them too easily).
