A different and sweet approach away from the current Hollywood sex fueled soft core porn type romance movies instead using kindness, compassion, mutual attraction, and exhibiting a healthy respect while learning each other as deep love grows. I also loved the Vancouver setting. Refreshing and touching. This worked for me.

A Christmas movie that speaks to so many families living for the gold when the gold is within the family and in kindness without being preachy or condescending. A sweet and kind movie and may cause a leaking eye or two.

Loved it! A combination of Earth's natural world with a look at the possibility of nature on other planets with some rather interesting and beautiful graphics and 'what if' contemplation. Delves into already existing studies and scientific space exploration while flirting around with the constant imaginations of humankind's perpetual gazing at the stars and search for life elsewhere.

The movie moved a bit slow at first with character and plot development but the necessity became apparent later. Berenger did an excellent job as an old man struggling with sobriety, trying to stay afloat living in a camper and quietly helping others in worse circumstances while dealing with his own inevitable fatal illness. His character took a wily hunter aspect with the accidential death of a woman bank robbery and discovery of the huge robbery payload and his clumsy yet effective dealings with murderous group concluding in a surprise twist ending I like.

I give it a two star for the marriage counseling tip that if you have ever been mislead by a person that your spouse/mate is cheating and how damaging and destructive to a marriage that person can be then this movie is spot on. Otherwise this movie is a one.

Did anyone else find the story line predictable? I felt there was nothing new brought to an already overdone story line.
