The idea is there, but the execution is poor. Will smith is a great actor and plays his role/s very well, but there are major plot holes. Things like the clone having everything exactly the same as as the original. Sure the bee allergy would be there, and all the genetic components, but just because Henry Brogan likes puzzles and is good at chess doesn’t mean the clone/s would be, those are things based on circumstances of his upbringing, the clone wouldn’t have the same fears as Henry, but he didn’t have the same upbringing as Henry. It’s nature vs nurture. Simply put, other than appearance and genetic medical conditions, they would be totally different people, they wouldn’t even sound that alike to one another. In addition to these plot holes the cgi, especially in the hand to hand combat scenes, is awful I understand why they did it, but they didn’t do it well. Even though the technology is available to make it look more realistic, they really whiffed in that.
