Disappointing. The film stars two favorite actors (Don and Benicio) backed by a host of top notch actors, only to be held back by an overly complicated, disjointed story line. Plot twists were heavy handed, gratuitous and implausible. Cinematography perhaps attempts a classic 60's cinematic look, but the over use of wide angle distortion and odd camera angles were distracting at best, and often off-putting. From the writing to the presentation, the movie felt weighed down by over stylized gimmicks. Greater attention could have been levied toward a streamlined, engaging story. Unfortunately the investment in an amazing cast throughout the film never paid off. So much lost potential.
