Just watched some on Hulu. At first I thought it reminded me of This is Us like all the lives intertwined, but the acting here is way worse and it doesn't have the depth of the family connections like This is Us. I see others have had the same thoughts.
Although the people on This is Us can be selfish crybabies, at least when I watch that, I see parts of myself in each character and my siblings and our dynamics with our parents. A Million Little Things is a story where honestly, after 3 episodes, I just skipped ahead and read the reviews of the most recent episode. I want to know what Jon did re: the life insurance and why he committed suicide, but I just don't care about these people enough to watch all the way through. If it were a book, I'd flip to the last chapter and be done with it.
