Its not Project Cars 2 but then it doesn't really pretend to be either. It's an arcade racer which seems to suit VR a bit more because of the shorter sessions. Sure, it's not even close to Forza Horizon 4 or 5 but it's definitely the best arcade VR racer.

Now that they've started to iron out the bugs, this is a thoroughly enjoyable game. I'm not a huge fan of conquest but Breakthrough and Hazard zone are both extremely fun game modes. Portal you can pretty much make up whatever battle you want as well. People are moaning about the scoreboard system but those people are generally those who have been smashing fps games for years. I like the way EA have made it more approachable and encouraging to newcomers whilst still showcasing those elite players who finish first in various categories. Also, it doesn't feel like a pay to win game at all which is nice.
