I loved the Selection series, and was fully expecting to love Betrothed as well. However, it appears I’ve grown past her target audience, the characters lacked development and description, I really didn’t know who they were and why they acted the way they did. Tragic events occurred that happened in succession so quickly I became apathetic. Despite being over 300 pages, the story lacks content.
