Just got back from the theater watching it & I absolutely LOVED it!! As a black woman, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it was such a spoof on all of us as Americans. How much we've allowed the media to influence our bias when in reality we're closer to the same than we all think. I laughed from beginning to end! Will be recommending my entire family to see it. Amazing job Matt!!

So I've watched the series in its entirety about 3 times & I've come away with different conclusions after watching again. Firstly, I loveeeeeee this series. The plot twists are things you don't normally guess or when you think it will go one way it goes the complete opposite. Secondly, the character development for EACH character is something I've never really seen in a series before. They all had a story that was interesting and that intersected with the main storyline. It was all interwoven perfectly. What also amazed me were there are scenes where you feel compassion for every character including the villains. The most complex characters in my opinion were Emrir & Zynep. They both were selfish people for love but the difference was Emrir could cross the line to do very sick things give a baby medicine to induce a fever, throw a fake baby over a cliff etc. Zyneps ability depended on who would believe her. She just used straight manipulation tactics. Zynep ended up being my fav character by the end because she was most realistic with her love defeating her & the things she stupidly did for it. I love Nihan & Kemal but after watching over i undersand his death. She didn't deserve the happy end for how many times she left him hanging. blaming him for her brothers death. Nihan hurt him the worst by her weakness, working Emrir to convince Kemal crushed him. His death was her doing. Lovd the show!!
