I'm going to make this review short and sweet. Absolutely, spectacular and all round magical! Best movie I've seen in a long time. I loved everything about this movie. Can't fault it and can't wait for the 2nd part. It will definitely have to fill very, very big boots.

Add this film to the flop file. The script should have been thrown out or burnt at the stake. If I wanted to see a musical I would have preferred to stay in and watch Calamity Jane with Doris Day. This film is definitely not what I expected. I just couldn't wait for it to end. Everytime Joaquin or Gaga opened their mouths to sing. Something would churn up inside me. I think yuk is the appropriate word for how I felt. Way to go in destroying my hopes of ever wanting to see another film about the Joker. What next. Penguin in a tutu.

I felt the storyline resembled too much like the first Alien movie. Lacked originality and easily read. The connection is there with unresolved scenes from the original. The movie is fast paced with plenty of thrills that saves it from repeated boredom. It's engaging and manages to give rise to the creepy. Fun ride - but I can't bring myself to say it is in league with any of the classic Alien titles.

This movie has attracted people of all ages. Amazing how Elvis, still moves an audience, years after the tradedy of his death. I would highly recommend seeing this movie. Great cast, wonderful directing.
