This is not normally the sort of book I would read but lockdown lack of books drove me to steal this from my wife’s pile and to be honest, I did not expect much. What a surprise! A beautifully written love story which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Story concerns Lara and Rob, typical boy meets girl, crossed wires and it all works out. It’s a well-crafted story though and there are plenty of twists and turns and a whole host of other characters and their side-plots, which lifted this out of the run of the mill romance. The quality of the writing is superb and the level of subtle detail that brought the characters to life was really clever. Highly recommended.
