I totally agree with the one-star reviews regarding the far too extensive use of online/mod channel chat. Confusing, boring, hard to read, needing extensive editing (mainly to delete 99% of the chat)--it made the story inch along for far too many pages. Moreover, the author is too good a writer to resort to the "chat lingo" of the day. And, for the first time ever, I read about half of it, and then skipped to the final couple of chapters. That being said, despite my being very disappointed with this book 6, I've just now pre-ordered the 7th book. I'm hoping this series can be redeemed--and yes, let's move along the relationship of the two main characters....
