A waste of 2 hours plus of my life. Left the cinema questioning why the Director strayed so far away from the original narrative. Ultimately we wanted the Joker to win against the odds that were stacked heavily against him because of his background and mental health problems. I expected to see him free to express his warped sense of justice terrorising the high society most loath for their entitlement and cruelty towards the masses Instead we see him literally tortured then ultimately killed. I didn't sign up for a musical and didn't appreciate the contribution of lady gaga who seemed to be there for a sing along and a few cheap thrills. I cant see how the Director can get away with ruining and ending a characters story like this leaving no chance of a way back for the Joker. Left bitterly disappointed wishing I never walked into the cinema
