It was great, the book adaptation is very good. Some parts of the book are left out book but the story moves along. The action is more intense in the movie and was impressive. I think the struggles and hardships of the fremen are not made clear enough. This Tim kid that is Paul plays the character well. The Leto and Jessica story is well told, and the subtle realizations that her loyalties are not 100% with her family or the witches are foreshadowed nicely. Minimalism of the mentats was a little bit of a bummer. I liked how the cgi action was not blurry or dark, effects are very good. I thought the worms would be bigger, but they are still decent. Go see it.

It was awesome, for 40 years I have been watching star wars movies, empire strikes back was my favorite. Rouge One was great and I am going to say this was or is now my favorite. The story moved along fast and didnt slow down for sappy stuff of filler, they didnt over emphasize that this was the conclusion of the 9 episodes. It kept my interest the whole time. I thought there were going to be more storm trooper battles, but that my desire. If your a star wars fan then you have to see it this week. If your not a fan, see it next week. It is entertaining, exciting and full of action and adventure.
