Absolutely superb. There is not a weakness in the entire production. All the cast, including those with no lines, not just the really big names, are on top form. I enjoyed this so much that I binged it in 2 days, then began to rewatch it 2 days later to capture the poetry within. Now all I need is a print of the poster used as the basis for the animations at the beginning and end credits. By far and away the best long format love story I've seen.
Ranks with Dodsworth, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, and To Catch a Thief for humour, drama, and poignancy. As a coming of age film it's unusual as it's a mature person breaking free. Echoes of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday.
