I loved the book although I'm not sure why. I'm a fast reader and didn't feel it dragged. It made me want to keep reading. It's strange how different people see it and it's not a love or hate book as some people had. Mixed feelings about it including my son. What I would say is don't listen to the reviews that try to stereotype the reader. I'm 63 and not a gamer but I loved it. I usually read detective novels and like a clear plot and a good ending. However this gripped me and didn't disappoint. Give it a go and don't be put off. I haven't read Night Circus and will try not to be put off by those who say if you like this you won't like that as some clearly do like both.
