I was so underwhelmed by the book.After such hype I was expecting so much more.The movie though marginally better didn't live up to the fanfare either.Its not often that the book is worse than the movie (as I also found to be the case with The talented Mr Ripley.The movie was gorgeous) but in this case I suggest you skip the book and watch the movie instead.
