I had no idea how this time in history was compared to the death camps. The movie is an historical romance that touches on this time without burdening the viewer with the worse realities. The colors and pageantry were beautiful and the actors did a beautiful job. This was written by a woman whose family had to go across the continent of India bc of their religious beliefs.Her grandmother has a young baby who died along the way.
