Read the novels. You will discover the genius of Robert Jordan in the very characters that have somehow been sacrificed for the Prime series: Loyal the Ogier, Bayle Doman, etc... I admit the most tragic aspect of the story as it is being produced has thus far been Matt Cauthon. Sad, really. I would give it zero stars , but it deserves one for the scene depicting Rand' s birth "...of a maiden on Dragon Mt." (Actually from New Spring- Jordan). I must reiterate: READ THE NOVELS/SERIES. The story is wonderful. If you can get through the first 3 (an investment) 4-8 are a spectacular example of great story telling. Robert Jordan was a master...
