The show is dramatic and suspenseful for younger viewers but I found it had a great effect on my 6 year old who in the past has not been very gentle with little critters. It gave us an opportunity to put ourselves in the place of of those little critters and understand how it feels to be them in a dangerous world. Generally my son loves animals but has a hard time understanding how others feel. This was a good exercise in that and I think it really impacted him for the better.
