Harriet Martin

A rich poignant story about survival and the human spirit especially through the eyes and heart of a mother. My parents and grandparents were part of the Greatest Generation. This brought some of what they talked about to life. I would put it right up there with Hannah’s Great Alone and The Nightingale. She is an excellent story teller and her character development is outstanding.
