The Dark Doggy

The single best movie ever made, closely followed by Caravan of Courage. This movie has the balls to kill off the entire cast of the first movie minus 2 characters. They bring the scope down from other Star Wars movies to focus on the events on a single part of one planet which massively improves the depth of the world. It is an actual galaxy rather than just a massive setpiece for the other movies to exist in. The villains called the Marauders are masterfully made terrifying via watching them wreck the ewoks at the start of the movie and then having the protagonist team be unequipped to fight them throughout. The antagonist, Lord Terak, has a constant presence and his design and voice are on par with Darth Vader. The whole movie is beautifully shot with so much time spent on finding the most gorgeous places to film. Wicket is the most lovable character ever put to film and Cindle should have died with the rest of her family. Last note is that the Marauders took a few wagonfulls of Ewoks from the village and yet when they are saved there's only a handful to save. That combined with all the Marauders eating meat leads to the only possible answer of half the people Wicket has ever known were eaten by the villains.
