*spoilers for deaths and who the killers are*
This movie is one of the best in the franchise in my opinion, It's not better than the original but it is better than Scream 2, I still really appreciate what Scream (2022) did for us by bringing the core four into the franchise but Scream VI really showed them in a different light and I love it. Tara and Chad were an okay pair in my opinion but I definitely prefer Mindy and Anika. Mindy and Anika were the cutest couple in that movie but Danny and Sam were definitely my second favorite pairing. Anika and Mindy had such an amazing relationship, which made the ladder scene so much harder to watch knowing damn well that one of them was going to die. I know that Anika probably only existed to make the body count bigger but seriously why her? Okay on a different note, how the hell did Chad survive? He'd been stabbed so many damn times and yet he still survives. If he can survive that then I heavily believe that Stu and or Jill could've survived because neither was shot in the head but if we go by that theory (yes I know it's not plausible, this is just for fun) then Stu, Mickey, Jill, Charlie, Ethan, and Wayne (Detective Bailey) all could have survived because none of them were shot in the head. But I know that all of those people died, except for maybe Stu because he was never a confirmed kill but who knows because in one of Drew Barrymore's posts about wanting to come back as Casey, "doctors can do many things" which leads me to believe that maybe if Stu is alive he either let it go or just won't be showing up in any other possible future Scream films due to him being in prison. Now, Scream VI had many memorable kills but my favorite had to be Anika's and then second is Quinn's death because there is something just so satisfying about watching her eyes roll into the back of her head as she falls down due to the force of the impact, lodging the bullet deep within her skull obviously touching upon her brain. There is something about that that makes me just so happy. This movie is the best thing to possibly take place in New York and New York was definitely the right place to be for this film. The shotgun bodega scene and the shrine scene are all amazing and only New York would be able to do this without fail and it succeded with flying colors in my opinion. Overall great film 10/10
