In a word... AWFUL.. it's unwatchable

Promoted as a dark comedy; loaded with popular actors (notably Meryl Streep), this is a secetly veiled political rail against campaign financing... Waste of time.. (Not that I oppose campaign reform) I thought I was watching a story about a poor little lady seeking (and finding) justice, instead THIS BOMB waits until the very end to reveal itself... Awful!! 👎👎

I CANNOT believe people actually liked this AWFUL movie... I was excited to see it based on reviews, but I struggled from the first scene... it never gets off the ground, and really goes nowhere fast. And the script was not only bad, it was awkward and strange at times. Good cast, but they were totally WASTED on this snoozer. If this is how movies are being written, the industry will die, plain and simple. Sorry people, but we deserve better quality films.

I actually liked this show the first season; but somehow the second season ratchets up the disgusting (and disturbing) raunch to such a cringeworthy level, I can't take much more. Most disturbing is a question in my head: Does the average English person really overuse the F-word so much or really have such crass and disgusting thoughts in their heads as do many of characters in this show??? Come on Gervais... clean it up and maybe you've got a good premise for an enjoyable series, but honestly this one has gone totally off the rails into the septic system.
