It's a shame that they've disregarded the exceptional and meticulous work of Peter Jackson. Nothing compares to the original "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" trilogies. The casting, VFX, and dialogue in this new iteration are disappointing and feel like a waste. This should be completely remade and given back to the original creator, with the cast and characters being replaced with the original as those characters are altered. It's clear why the quality is going down the hill.
