“Clown in a Cornfield” brought a uniqueness to the slasher game. This film had insane kills, fast paced action, and the craziest plot twists! I LOVED that they brought in some underground actors/actresses, they played their roles SO WELL. Specifically, Katie Douglas — like always, spectacular acting. Love her. I also appreciated how the finalist characters were quick thinkers and fighters. I enjoy a slasher so much more when the characters use common sense. Seeing a strong female lead is another great example of why this movie was so peak! Plus, the comedy! So many moments I burst out laughing, which I love to see in horror movies. Adding some humor into the mix not only makes it so much more entertaining, but also makes the scary scenes matter more. Scares on scares is good, but unexpected scares after laughing your butt off, is SO much better! Anyway, I really hope there is more to the story.. I would love to see more of this idea, and more of these actors/actresses. Highly recommend the film!
