I've never read the books and am wondering if I should have just to watch this series. There is no character development and no thought givin to the characters choices. I am so lost on episode 4. Does it get better?

I did like this movie but caught myself thinking how privileged of a person she was many times during. Of course everything worked out well for her either way, she has supportive parents, money and is a beautiful talented white woman. I would have liked this a lot more if there were some real world challenges that comes from raising a child as a single mom. Over all not bad

Always have LOVED this show but this latest season 6 has me yelling at my TV. Nathan is NEVER around to help with the kids landing mom in the hospital. The writers decide it would be a great idea to push the "workaholic" title onto her instead of Dad, who is ALWAYS working, steping up to help out. Did a group of middle aged men start writing this show or what??!!

Both these sisters are so desperate for love but they are looking in the wrong places. Love yourself first! The men they choose treat them terribly and are honest about the real reason (money) they are with them. Bottom line is that this should be a show about how the girls seek therapy and learn to love themselves but it wouldn't make as much money so we'll all just watch the train wreck I guess. I hope they find peace someday.
