Soundtrack was entertaining but an odd mix. It was fun to watch overall but the appeals to modern western values was contrived and phony.
The "girl boss" type of feminism messaging is Faux value and a bit tawdry. It says loud and clear:
A WOMAN IS MORE VALUABLE WHEN SHE IS MAKING MONEY OR COMPETING WITH MEN.
A seemingly gay ferry godmother is predictable, and unecessary pandering.
The biggest message: ALL NEW IDEAS ARE "PROGRESS AND BETTER"
This of course requires a substantial amount of hubris to believe.
